HURRICANE IMPACT

SAF-GLAS prouducts consist of a variety of laminates that have passed large missile impact and cyclic wind pressure tests.

Laminated glass is a multi-functional glazing material that can readily be used in several applications ranging from Residential to Commercial installations.

LARGE MISSILE IMPACT TEST:

• Consists of three 2"x 4" timbers weiging 9lbs. each and impacting at a speed of 50ft. per sec.

• Two impacts per specimen, one at the center and one within 6" (152mm) of a corner.

• All three specimens must pass, one substitute is permitted.
